A historic brand system for a historical client.

Quinte Museum of Natural History Brand / Digital

The Quinte Museum of Natural History opened its doors in Quinte West in June of 2022 with an impressive dinosaur exhibit created by their neighbours at Research Castings International.  After a successful first year and ahead of revealing a new whale exhibit, the museum felt that it was time to invest in its brand and website.

The core of the brand was inspired by the Fibonacci Spiral but as the concept was refined, the opportunity to create an interchangeable brand system became evident. One where the subject matter of the primary museum exhibit and colour palette could adapt to and complement the primary Fibonacci Spiral identity.

Once the brand identity system was established, a custom website was developed that provided the museum staff with the ability to control over 95% of the content on the site including the ability of the theme colour palette to match that of the primary exhibit.
