Longtime client, Bathworks wanted to take their social engagement to a whole new level on Facebook – More Likes and more engagement with their Ontario fans.
They developed a Facebook promotion, ‘The Ugly Duckling’ - a chance for someone to win a $5000 bathroom makeover. The hub of this promotion was a custom Facebook App developed by They where users had to upload a picture of their ugly bathroom and then spread the word to their Facebook Friends to ‘Like’ their photo. Over the 10 week period a finalist was chosen at the end of each week based on the most likes their photo had received.
At launch, Bathworks had 2,358 Likes and at the end of the 10 week period almost 5,700, a 241% increase. On average they were gaining 47 new Likes per day.
